Birthday Haul Part 2!

Hello my dears!

I'm so excited to FINALLY share with you the rest of my gifts from my birthday group! I'm kind of sad that it is all over but at the same time I am having fun shopping for the other girls' birthdays. It was great having all these packages come in, especially since I have been limiting my purchases! Anyways, on to the loot!

Not the best picture, but you are looking at Dior Waterlily in that lovely silver box! I am still shocked that this baby made it's way to me! I would have been happy just with that, but I got a mini Zoya Noel, CANDY and a few other goodies!

Love all the bright colors in this one! Forgive me but I can't remember the names of these right now! The set in the back is Dippin Dots-I love the peach and the mint green! The other 3 colors are perfect for warm weather!

Love the Pooh card! Vintage Pooh is the best! Here we have Deborah Lippmann Don't Tell Mama and Kiko #255. OMG this purple scattered holo is amazing! Can't believe I had never heard of the brand before. Chuao chocolate is my favorite, and I can't get enough of coconut lime!

I can never have too many of those Reese's eggs! I love them out of the freezer! Revlon Rainforest, Julep Melissa, Sinful Colors Love Nails and Revlon Blue Mosaic! Beautiful colors!

More colors I have been wanting! OPI Green-which Village, Essie Turquoise & Caicos and OPI Cajun Shrimp! And now I really want a "B" notepad for myself! ;)

And my final package! Holy cow I am spoiled! Essence Let's Get Lost, Sinful Colors Fiji, Orly Galaxy Girl, Essence Turquoise & Caicos, Spoiled Jewelry Heist and NOPI Kendall on the Katwalk. And MORE candy! Oh and the best smelling lotions too!

Whew! After all this I never need to buy nail polish again! Lol, who am I kidding?! This addiction is not leaving me anytime soon. . .

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

NOTD: Zoya Elodie

Hello lovelies!

Hope you had a great Thursday! I have a quick post for you, showcasing Zoya Elodie! I cut my nails down to the nubs and there is nothing I like better than bright colors on short nails! And I absolutely adore corals! I am just going to let the pics do the talking tonight! :)

Beautiful, right?! I can't wait to wear her again after I have my summer tan! What colors do you like to wear on short nails? Do you have any must have corals?

I realize I yet to mention that I am planning my 400 follower giveaway! I had hoped to have it posted this week but things came up. I might not be around much the next few days but I will definitely have it posted sometime next week! In the meantime I hope you all have a great Friday and enjoy your weekend!

April Haul Time: Part 1

Hello lovelies!

I figure it's about time to show you what I have accumulated so far this month! To be honest, there was a little more than this sent to me but this is what I ended up keeping for myself! :)

First off is my long awaited order from Pam's Girly Bits! I placed this order at the end of February. . .but I didn't get it until this month. I was definitely a little disappointed at how long it took for them to ship, but I'm just impatient sometimes. Not like I don't have enough untrieds already!

Pretty excited to try all of these!

These are all color shifting top coats!

These next polishes are from some online orders from some great sellers! Hong Kong Girl is becoming my new go to quick dry top coat! It was introduced to me by Jill at Glisten & Glow! Not only does she sell this and other nail polish from brands like OPI and Essie but she also makes customized bath products! Look forward to another post in the future with more info! I also placed orders from Pams & Kin on Etsy and from Ninja Polish!

Hong Kong Girl Fast Dry Topcoat, P&K Sabotage and Jessica Iridescent Eye

Just a small order from Sally Beauty. Picked up some polishes for a birthday gift and grabbed these for myself since they were on sale for $3 each!

China Glaze Luxe & Lush and Pelican Gray

I got a trio of the new Zoya colors for 50% off and $2 shipping thanks to a Good Morning America promo. I ended up just keeping the one color! The GOSH came from a swap with a girl from Canada (check out her new blog here!), I wish I had access to this brand-the color is great!

Zoya Wednesday and GOSH Forest Floor

I have gotten a few more polishes since taking these photos, but I will save those for another post! :) Any of these in particular that you would like to see first? Let me know!

Hope you all have a great Hump Day!

NOTD: Sinful Colors Cream Pink and Cover Band Sticks & Stones

Quite a mouthful of a title huh? :) I hope you enjoy this mani more than I did! This is how this came to be. . .

First, I really wanted to file down/reshape my nails but find it easier to do so with a solid color on my nails. So I reached for Sinful Colors Cream Pink. Cute pink, has a nice gold shimmer to it that is not captured here. Anyways once that was on my nails I got lazy and didn't want to file. But I also wasn't really digging the color on me so I decided to play around with it a bit. Enter Cover Band Sticks & Stones. (For those of you that don't know-this is, in my opinion, a better dupe for Lynnderella Connect The Dots and is available only from Ninja Polish.) On to some pics and then I'll share my thoughts about it!

Seriously the longest my nails have been in a long time.

Sticks & stones may...

break my bones...

but words will...

never hurt me.

This felt so 80's! I really wanted to love it, and it did kind of grow on me. There were a couple of things I didn't like, and it really wasn't the fault of the polish. (Except for a couple of the hexagons-like the one on my ring finger-had edges that were curled up just a tiny bit which caused me to pick them off!) I prefer to keep my nails shorter, the length and shape of some of my nails was really bugging me. Also I am not much of a pink person. I definitely am going to try this again soon but using a different base color. I'm thinking a sea foamy or even neon green! Finally I think it would have turned out better with just a little less glitter. I am determined to do this in a way that I love! :)

So what do you guys think? Is this a trend that you like or does it not appeal to you? What color do you think would look good under it?

Hope you all had a great weekend, wishing you a wonderful Monday!

NOTD: Catrice Dirty Berry

Hello lovelies!

What happened?! No one yelled at me for not posting yesterday! Hehe just a quick one, but a good one! This baby was sent to me as a random act of kindness! Imagine my surprise when I opened my mail box to find an unexpected package with this inside! My across the pond polish swapper picked this up for me while she was on vacation! I seriously cried when I opened it, I was so touched by her kindness! (BTW, this lovely lady also has a blog! Check it out here) Anyways, here is Catrice Dirty Berry!

So irritated that I nicked my ring finger before taking pictures!

I had no idea there was a holo shimmer to this until I saw it in real life! (sorry for the tip wear, this was a couple days later!)

I am so in love with this!

Final shot for good measure ;)

Isn't it gorgeous! I certainly didn't mind finding another bottle of this in my secret bunny gift! Also I have to mention how fitting this polish is at the moment, it is #420 which just so happens to be the number of followers I currently have! Tehehehe!

Do you own any Catrice polishes? If so, what are your must have colors?

Hope your are having a fabulous weekend!

Final March Haul!

Yes, I realize we are now almost half way through April! But I have been so scatterbrained the last couple weeks! I just realized I hadn't even posted the rest of what I hauled! There are some pretty epic polishes in here too. . .so I figured they still deserved a post of their own. :)

First up are some Funky Fingers polishes! These are only sold through a store called 5 Below, which unfortunately doesn't exist anywhere remotely close to where I live! I got a few for my birthday but I also had a sweetie from one of my nail polish groups pick a few up for me! (She picked up a few others but they ended up being duplicates so I didn't photograph them.)

 Pop Artist, Rio and Ectoplasmic

Tinsel Town and Sold Out Arena

Purple Glitter Scales and Fuschia Scales

Next up are some beauties that have had mixed reviews! I have to admit I wasn't impressed when I saw the first swatch pics, but the more I saw the more I fell in love! Once I saw them in person I knew I had to have them! China Glaze Prismatics Collection! These are all super glittery with a slight color shift, so full of win! Better yet I was able to get the lady at my local Sally's to pull them out of the back for me (instead of making me wait until April!) so I could use my bday coupon!

Full Spectrum, Prism, Liquid Crystal, Optical Illusion and Ray-diant

Definitely worthy of 2 photos!

Now here is where it really gets good! Regardless of all the drama around this brand, I couldn't turn down the opportunity to get my hands on them! It took weeks but finally I was able to cross these off my Lynnderella wishlist!

Pretty sure you can read the bottles. ;)

And I know you wanted to see more than 1 pic of these babies!

My final purchase of March! I was even more excited about this than I was the Lynn's! I have lemmed for this polish ever since I saw Amy post swatches on her blog! When Ninja Polish opened and they had this stocked, I almost died! I missed out on it the first few restocks but finally snagged it! Nail-Venturous FLOAM!!!
Need I say more?

Pure epicness right?! I have another haul post planned to show you what I have accumulated so far in April, and am just waiting on 2 more gifts to post the other half of my birthday hauls! And a few NOTD posts too! Told you I was backlogged! Someone yell at me if I go more than a day without posting! ;)

Hope you all have a very happy Friday!

Brittany Raquel

Blog sale update!

Easter Haul: Secret Bunny Exchange!

Hello my dears!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Even if you don't celebrate Easter I hope you got to spend the day with those you love most! (Oops! Totally meant to publish this post on Monday!!!)

I have another haul to show you, this one came to me earlier in March but I wanted to wait until Easter time to show you since it was a Secret Bunny exchange! This was another fun swap set up through one of my Facebook groups. About a month before we sent out gifts we found out who the person was we got to shop for, and then the fun started! I loved stalking my person in the group to make sure I put together a gift she would love. And I can tell that my bunny did the same for me! Check it out!

My first look inside! Where to start?!

More goodies hiding under the chocolate!

I have fallen in love with this lip butter and lotion! They smell great!

After hearing great things about this, I was so excited to try it myself! I have found a new favorite for my cuticles! This stuff is amazing!

More little extras! Aren't the birds so cute?!

I don't live anywhere near a CVS this brand is totally new to me! Here we have Spoiled I'm So Jaded. . .this color is SO me! :)

You know how I love my greens and glitter! Spoiled Show Me The Money

I swear this is more of a teal in real life! Spoiled Distant Green
This is such a pretty coral! Spoiled Let's Get Sushi

This one had a bit of a leak when it arrived, but cleaned up nice! Spoiled Toad-ally Amazing

My first Model's Own polish! Jade Stone

I have had my eye on this one for a while! So pretty! Catrice Dirty Berry

I knew it would be special when I saw the silver cap! OPI DS Tempation

I am a huge Pink Floyd fan, I have been lemming hard for this one! Deborah Lippmann Dark Side of The Moon

And here is the grand finale! I am so excited to not only own 1 but 2 of these beauties!! Ludurana Show and Fasinante

My bunny did such an awesome job! I love how she packed up everything, it was so much fun opening! She definitely paid attention and I love everything she sent me!

I love the stickers! I had to save them, too cute!

I still feel so spoiled! And I'm still trying to use all my new polishes! This package came at such a great time since I have been restraining myself from buying! It's always fun to have someone else shop for you and surprise you! I feel so lucky to have had such a generous and thoughtful bunny!

I have a couple more posts lined up, trying to play some catch up so expect to see a little more of me the next few days! :)
