NOTD: Dandy Nails Look Around

Hello lovelies!

Carrying on with the birthday polish manis I have a new brand to show you today! Although this is not my first Dandy Nails polish, this is the first that I have actually worn! Look Around is a stunning green with scattered holo! The sun was in hiding when I took photos but I promise the holo is there!

One thing I noticed about this polish. . .there was no shrinkage from my top coat! Since I use a fast dry top coat there tends to be minimal shrinkage but that did not happen with this polish! I wore this for a few days and avoided any signs of wear! Amazing!

Review: Different Dimension Whatever & Wish You Were Here

Hello lovelies!

Today I have the second part of my Different Dimension review for you! If you didn't see it already you can check out the first part here!

This is another 2 for 1 post! Whatever was a gift from my birthday group and Wish You Were Here was provided for an honest review. Links at the end to get your own!

First photos are of Whatever on it's own. Ring finger is Zoya Purity. Whatever is from the The 80's Baby Collection and is a purple scattered neon holographic polish. I could have gotten away with 1 coat but used 2 for good measure.

I love this purple so much! Next up I added on Wish You Were Here. WYWH is from the Pink Floyd inspired Echoes Collection and is another amazing glitter topper! It is a clear base with pink, fuchsia, blue and silver glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes. I love the squares and the big circles! I applied one coat and used the dabbing method again to get the glitter where I wanted it.

A shot of my rarely seen right hand!

Such a fun glitter that it needed 2 macros!

Just noticed that my label was doubled up on WYWH!

I don't love this combo as much as the last one I reviewed, next time I will use Wish You Were Here over a black base, I think that will allow the glitters to really stand out! The glitter payout was great I only had to dig around for the big circles. Next time I will let my bottle sit upside down for a while so these will be easier to grab. I didn't try to get as much glitter on my right hand and I liked the look of that a little better.

Different Dimension polishes can be purchased directly from Etsy or from these retailers: Llarowe, Mei Mei's Signatures, Edgy Polish and ledouxnuage.

You can also find Different Dimension on Facebook and Instagram!

I hope you enjoyed these reviews and I look forward to bringing you many more!

NOTD: Butter London Two Fingered Salute

Edit: This was originally posted as BL Trustafarian in error. Thanks to my reader Tara for catching my mistake and alerting me so that it could be corrected! Next time I will be more careful when I am working on several posts at once! :)

Hello lovelies!

Just a quick post today, here is another birthday polish mani! Butter London Two Fingered Salute has been on my wish list since I first saw it, I love the color of green and the gold glitter adds amazing depth! I apologize in advance that I was not able to capture it's true beauty in these photos!

Speaking of taking quality photos, if anyone has any recommendations on an inexpensive set up please let me know! I can't rely on the sun here in Washington! ;)

I Just Can't Get Enough! Haulin'!

Hey lovelies!

So I truly tried not to buy any nail polish during my birthday month. . .I made it a couple weeks but then failed miserably! I sold a bunch of stuff from my blog sale and PayPal funds always burn a hole in my pocket! ;)

 Group shot!

It's been forever since I purchased any LA Girl, I was very pleased to add these to my collection! From the 3D Effects: Brilliant Blue, Teal Dimension, Dazzling Pink and Electric Coral. (These all came from Walgreens.) I also found Glissand and Green Sand from the Sand Blast Collection at Deal's Only, a local shop.

These were all purchased from Llarowe. Pahlish Oh Dear, His Favorite Sundress, Green & Giggly and Singing In The Garden.

I am so in love with the Enigma Collection from Ninja Polish! Divinity, Mystic Glacier and Pacific Coral. I still want Tweety too but alas it is sold out!

My first two from Different Dimension! Expect to see much more of this brand! Squarey Hexy (OMG so much square glitter!!) which I bought from Llarowe and Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock (Love the Big Bang Theory reference!) directly from Missi's Etsy shop

Another new brand for me! Nail Pattern Boldness Don't Drop That Spoon and Le Big Party. Both purchased from Llarowe. Love these matte glitters!

And yes, another new brand! Scofflaw Flotsam & Jetsam and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! Also from Llarowe

My solo polish from Wonder Beauty Products was getting lonely so I ventured on over to their Etsy shop and came away with these two beauties! Free Spirit from the tattoo inspired Inked Dolls Collection and Aphrodisiac.

Sinful Colors Leap Flog came to me via a swap and Pistach was purchased from Walgreens.

A couple randoms from Llarowe: Jindie Nails Nude Beach, Hare Polish Dauphine of Decadence and Girly Bits Twitterpated. Somehow the label was left off my bottle but I did end up getting one in the mail!

Some more Llarowe randoms: Emily de Molly You Don't Own Me (my first EdM!), Gloss n Sparkle Quote, Unquote (more matte glitter!) and Naild' It Aurora's Grape Escape.

A couple of swaps, Urban Outfitters Green Holo and Essie Funky Limelight

I have been wanting to try Glisten & Glow's Stuck On Blu base coat since I am such a fan of the HK Girl top coat. I figured while I was at it I had better get a back up of HKG too. :)

I officially have enough Julep Nail Therapy to last me for a LONG time. I love this as a base coat and was almost out! I got these in swaps and also one of my birthday girls sent me one!

The final group shot

My collection is certainly growing again! I have had to move some of my polishes back into my Helmer since my 6 nail racks are full! I don't have space to go further down on the wall but I think I might end up stacking them 2 high. . .we'll see!

NOTD: Butter London Slapper & Sparkles by Julie Waterlily

Hello lovelies!

Today is a pretty special post, featuring my very first use of an accent nail! I know this is nothing new, but it is the first time I have done it and I love it! I will definitely be doing this more often and also have been gathering ideas to start doing some nail art!

These are both birthday polishes, Butter London Slapper with an accent nail of Sparkles by Julie Waterlily. 2 coats of Slapper and Waterlily is 1 coat over Zoya Purity. I should also note that Slapper leans more green than my camera wanted to capture!

What do you think? What are some of your favorite ways to jazz up your manis?
